Andzia

The adventures of little Andzia are a collection of poems written by Father Piotr Mankowski at the beginning of the 20th century for his nieces and nephews. Made to be a parody of the moralising and naive tales of Poland in these years, they are dark, fun and thought-provoking.
Remarquably illustrated by Przemyslaw Truscinski with strong surrealist inspiration, these short poems are a fantasy-filled satire of behavioural conformism.
